iPod's fatal flaw?

Don't you ever think about how cool all of the mp3/ipod stuff is. You can download music, create all these playlists of music, share music, synchronize automatically between your ipod and your computer, connect your computer to your home stereo and play your music from your computer to your hi-fi system. All cool stuff right. So here is my quandary..Why on earth can't they figure out how to keep those little foamy things on the end of the headphone earbuds. Seriously, what is up with that...it is the single most irritating thing about the ipod experience for me. The iPod is cool but those damn foamies never stay on. To make matters worse...if you go to your local store that sells ipods and ask for a package of 50 of the foamies...they don't sell them. Go figure.

I can't tell you how many times I have crawled around in my basement, on the back lawn, in my house to find one of the missing foamies. Hell I have even turned around during one of my bike rides to go find a foamy that fell out while I was riding. Pretty desperate right? Not as bad as my brother (airline pilot...Captain too) who drove back to the airport from his house (30Min drive) to get the 5 bucks he accidentally threw in the garbage with some scrap paper. Oh and the best part is... he was still wearing his uniform as he proceeded to rip the garbage can apart in his quest to get his 5 bucks back. Now that is funny shit.

Anyway, this foamy problem may not be the fatal flaw but jeez...there is a business opportunity here.. Maybe I could play the ringtone model and sell them for a penny but sell gazzillions of them. It's going to be huge...call me the foamy guy. Look for www.foamyguy.com coming soon.
